Our Mission

Living in Gospel-centered Community.

The Mission of Calvary Chapel Dallas is to promote the Christian faith and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as revealed through the Holy Scriptures, in our church, our community and out to the whole world. We stand strong in our commitment to train up believers in the Word of God as we teach chapter by chapter, verse by verse

We Believe that the Word of God is without error and given as a handbook for life. We seek to provide an atmosphere of Christ likeness through His love, mercy and grace. We understand that "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Rom 3:23. This is a place of rest, renewal and healing. We foster an atmosphere of growth in your spiritual life and encourage you deeper in your walk with Christ

We Worship and exalt Jesus Christ as Lord and King through acts of private and corporate singing, praising and prayer in our daily lives as a constant connection to the Holy Spirit and God the Father.

Reconciliation with God.

We believe that the center of the gospel is the glory and grace of Jesus Christ, so we strive to be a church that is centered on the gospel and reconciled to God through Christ. We preach the grace of Jesus unapologetically because it is God’s grace that trains us to be holy (Titus 2:11-12). Because of what Jesus did on the cross, we can now be reconciled to God. Our mission is to preach this gospel unapologetically to the world.

Reconciliation with others.

Though each Christian has a personal relationship with God, that relationship is not individual or private. The Christian faith is not intended to be lived in isolation. We were made for community; relationship with God and with each other. The local church is not merely a place that we attend but a people to whom we belong. The Bible calls us members of the body (1 Corinthians 12:12-31) with the expectation that we contribute to the body for the glory of God and the good of His people.

Reconciliation with others means living in a Gospel-centered community together; a radical call amid a culture of mere attendance and casual involvement. It involves mutual love, care, consistency and authenticity as we seek to adorn the person and work of Christ with our lives.

The Calvary Chapel Family:

A story of God's amazing grace.

Calvary Chapel's story is as unique as each of our own. The beautiful thing about Calvary's story is that God's grace and love are so deeply woven into the fibers of who we are that any success or prosperity we've experienced is a direct result of God's favor. We believe that all things exist and are being worked according to the triune God’s passion, pleasure and plan (Ephesians 1:11), which is the demonstration of His own intrinsic glory. And that God creates, calls, rescues, redeems, saves, restores, restrains and grants all to the end that He might be praised.
