PRISON MINISTRY
We are involved with ministering to the lives of prisoners behind bars, their families, and the aftercare to help with the transition from prison into the community again.
Pastor Larry has been involved with Bill Glass Champions for Life since 1982. In 2000, Pastor Larry became involved with Prison Fellowship which is directed by Chuck Colson. Larry also works closely with Prison Fellowship's regional director, Mark Hubbell.
Every Thursday, Larry facilitates a program," TUMI" in Oregon State Penitentiary (OSP). It is sponsored by Prison Fellowship in partnership with The Urban Ministry Institute in Wichita Kansas. It is a seminary level training for those that want to go further in their Christian walks. Upon four years of 16 modules the student will graduate with a Certificate of "Christian Leadership". These are Christian men that by submitting to the work of the Holy Spirit in their lives have done the homework, Scripture memorization, wrote papers, read many Christian books and then after testing have been recognized a man after God's heart. They have embraced a discipline in their lives that takes them through a transformation of the heart.
Calvary Chapel Dallas is also a "Bridge church" for Prison Fellowship, helping the transition of men and women from incarceration back to Polk county
JAIL MINISTRY
We are available to visit any inmate that has need of Pastoral care.
AFTER CARE TEAM

..."for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me a drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me." Then the righteous will answer Him, saying "Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You a drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?" And the King will answer and say to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." -Matthew 25:35-40
RIVER OF LIFE HOUSE
River of Life House is a non-profit house of transition for those getting out of prison or jail. "And He showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb." - Revelation 22:1Our Lord has led us to establish a house that is for those making the transition from prison or jail back to the community. It is a Christ-centered house with the focus on being a man of God. Every effort will be made to help those that want to make a second chance at life in the community walking with Christ. Church and Bible studies will be at the center of this home. This house is funded by Christians wanting to give the best possible chance for a man to make a new start.
